Arizona’s White Mountains real estate market remains active but more selective, giving buyers more room to compare properties while sellers still benefit from strong lifestyle demand. Recent public market data shows Show Low with a median sale price around the low $400,000s and homes taking roughly 50–60 days to move toward contract, while Pinetop-Lakeside continues to command higher mountain-home pricing, with recent median sale/listing figures near the upper $500,000s and longer marketing times on some properties. White Mountain Lake offers a more accessible entry point, with median listing prices closer to the low $200,000s and typical market times around the mid-50-day range. Overall, the region is best understood as a lifestyle-driven mountain market: well-priced, well-presented homes can still attract serious buyers, while properties that need updates, have rural utility considerations, or are priced ahead of the market may require more patience.

Stefan and Kim helped my husband and I purchase a property in Apache County. Both Stefan and Kim conducted themselves in a very professional manner yet remained warm, caring, and friendly throughout the entire transaction. In all fairness, I did not select Stefan and Kim Wehnau @ AARE. I requested information on a piece of property and Stefan was the first to contact me (followed my many others.). My wife and I are very happy about this encounter. We didn't realize, at the time, that we were actually getting two Realtors to assist us with our purchase. Stefan and Kim are amazing to work with and they each bring years of knowledge to make sure you know exactly what to expect. After making the decision to purchase, they made sure I understood the timeframes and inspections involved with being the Buyer and offered advice when asked. They stayed in contact with the Seller's agent along with the Escrow / Title company to keep things moving. In my case there were a few hiccups along the way from a failed septic system to a water well system that needed costly repairs. Stefan and Kim offered resources with regards to companies who could offer quotes and make repairs and they pointed out the pros and cons of getting the work done. Thoughout this purchase they treated us with respect and friendship. We strongly recommend this duo of Realtors to represent you as a Buyer or Seller. You won't be disappointed!
